Friends of Orchard Brae are hosting our annual Christmas Fair on Saturday 30th November 2019 between 11am and 2pm.
Entry is free and there be lots of festive fun for everyone to enjoy.

Aberdeen Performing Arts are opening up a new Everyone Can Play class for those with Additional Support Needs in association with drake Music. The sessions are free so drop in on Wed 13th Nov, 5.30-7.30pm at Tutti Studio, Music Hall. Come along for a fun, relaxed session with Drake Music Scotland and learn to play together. Suggested age group, 10-18 years old.
Shared Care Scotland are conducting research into holiday provision for children with ASN. If you would like to participate, you can share your views through their online surveys using the links below.
There are three surveys:
1. A survey for disabled children and young people aged 5 to 18 will provide a vehicle to hear the voices and views of young people. This can be found at: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/HHT6ZCY. Young people are encouraged to complete the online survey, with support from mum, dad, a teacher or a support worker.
2. Parent carers have the chance to complete their own survey at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/HVRBYY7 This will build up a unique national picture of the experiences of parent carers and the challenges they face.
3. In order to understand how support agencies and local service providers attempt to offer activities, programmes, and support to families for disabled children and young people, a third survey plans to gather their views. This is at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TZPGM6N
Following our Nursery’s recent inspection, the Care Inspectorate have published their updated inspection report and grades for the settings at Howes Road and Ashgrove. Well done to everyone for all their hard work!
