Orchard Brae Holiday Club
Holiday Club runs for Orchard Brae pupils during the following weeks:
- First Week of the Easter Holidays
- First 4 weeks of the Summer Holidays
- First Week of the October Holidays
Club runs from 9am – 12pm Monday to Friday. Children are to be dropped off and picked up from the main Orchard Brae door. If your child is unable to attend on the day, please contact us on 01224 788950.
Each child will be matched with a member of staff who knows them and has knowledge of their additional support and care needs.
Getting Ready for Holiday Club
To ensure that we provide a safe service for all children attending Holiday Club there are several checks to be carried out and we will write to families in advance of each session confirming what information we need. Please return these forms even if to advise that there is no change. Without signed consent forms in particular, your child will be unable to participate in some events.
Attending Holiday Club
We recommend that all children attend holiday club with the following:
- Suncream
- Outdoor/waterproof jacket
- Hat/scarf/gloves (hopefully not needed in summertime)
- Appropriate footwear for indoors and outdoors
Please DO NOT bring your child to Holiday Club if they:
- Have any symptoms of COVID
- Have tested positive for COVID
- Are required to self-isolate for any other reason e.g. travel related reasons
- Have a cold
- Feel unwell or there is a change in their wellbeing
- Have any other type of infectious disease
If you are in any doubt about whether your child is fit to attend Holiday Club, we would advise that they stay at home. This is much easier for everyone involved and prevents a child being turned away from the door when they arrive at school.
