Rights Respecting Schools
The Rights Respecting School is a U.K. wide initiative supported by UNICEF to embed the UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child) in schools. Our aim is to create a safe and inspiring place to learn, where children are respected, their talents are nurtured and they are able to thrive. We aim to embes these values in daily school life and give children and young people the best chance to lead happy, healthy lives and to be responsible, active citizens.
There are four key areas of impact for children at a Rights Respecting school; wellbeing, participation, relationships and self-esteem. These link with our school values and vision.
